Flee market.

"Do you want to join me to the flea market?" my husband asked. Huh, that is a question he has never asked before. Of course I join him right away.

We are late. The flea market will close within half an hour. I doubt whether I will find something of my liking. But I am too pessimistic. I stumble on a birdhouse. It looks like a craft project from a student. You recognize this schoolwork immediately. It has been constructed with a lot of sweat. It is painted without sanding together with the sawdust. What mark would the teacher have given the student for this birdhouse?

However, I buy it. The birdhouse has the right model. I just have to pimp it. It is time I interfere with this project.

Using the blackboard paint I always have in stock I paint the birdhouse black. This is just perfectly in keeping our black barn. The varnished roof of the birdhouse makes for a nice contrast to it. I’ll keep it that way. As a finishing touch I stick a little heart on the birdhouse. It only took me 5 minutes!

I ponder, would I have received a higher mark from the teacher?

I am sure he would!

For a little amount I have bought this school work.

Not pretty enough for me.

I have painted it black and.........

Added a little heart to it.

Ready! I hope the birds will like it.
