Summertime and the living is easy.

It is mid summer. I expect no more visitors in the garden. It is time to relax and enjoy the beauty and quietness in the garden.

This year I have made a combination of veg and flowers in the back garden, to give it a cottage feel. For instance the red veins of Swiss Chard look beautiful together with the dark colored Dahlia ‘Naomi’.

Why should I not put veg and flowers together in a vase?

After all it is summertime.
