Romneya. Summer beauty.

Romneya semi-shrubby perennials from southwestern California with extremely attractive poppy-like flowers, borne singly at the ends of the stems.
It is in flower now. A real summer beauty!

  1. Hi Hetty, I love Romneya coulteri! The flowers are so special. I am surprised though that you can grow it in your garden. I thought that it really can not deal with too much rain, because it will rot. Did you do special soil preparation when you planted it?
    Wishing you a good week!
    Warm regards,

  2. No nothing. It is close to the south facing wall. Just sand and shells. Lucky me! Groetjes
