The rose garden first week of June.

Rose garden
Last Friday and Saturday, my garden was open to the public. I received photographers and many enthusiastic visitors. I even met four young gardeners! That gives hope for the future. It have been two fantastic days. The visitors enjoyed the roses that bloomed abundantly.

Now it is quiet in the garden again. For me time to relax.

For those of you who could not visit the garden, a small photo impression.....

  1. Dear Hetty,
I would have loved to be there to enjoy your beautiful garden! Maybe next year. I am happy to hear that you had great garden days! I see your Jacques Cartier is doing really fine. I love this rose a lot. It was one of my favourite roses in May. Has been blooming for about 4 weeks and will hopefully bloom again soon. You´ve got quite a few white roses which makes me realise that I only have one white rose in my garden (Madame Alfred Carriere). However, I saw a very beautiful white rose at the David Austin Rose garden- Rose Susan Williams-Ellis, which I think I might buy.
    Best wishes,
    Lisa
